We did not start in an office full of computers. We started in an ice-cream factory, where software had to work every single day: in production, in the cold rooms, on delivery routes and with the tax authority.
From Grand Gelato, for every business
Grand Gelato needed software that followed the way it works: batches, recipes, freezer rooms, delivery routes, digital delivery notes. The off-the-shelf packages available could not meet its needs without compromises.
So we built it from scratch, next to the people who use it: in the office, on the production floor and on the road. Every feature was tested in daily work before we called it finished.
That is where we saw the same approach could work for other businesses. We founded the company to offer software that adapts to their needs, not the other way round.
